What is Lotus Biscoff Sauce

Lotus Biscoff Sauce is not something new and has already been on the rise for the last decade in United States. For most, it’s just a spreadable cream like Nutella, not for the taste, but because just like Nutella everyone loves to use it as a spread on bread and cookies.

Now this cream is also becoming very popular in Europe because it’s delicious. However, when you eath the real Lotus biscuit cream you’re like eating a toast covered with biscuits, brown sugar syrup, rapeseed oil, and loads of sugar. So if you like this biscuit cream and you have time to prepare it from scratch, I recommend you to try this homemade version of Biscoff cream which I feel is much better than the real Biscoff cream. It’s also very easy to prepare and can be ready with 4 ingredients in just 5 minutes!

Also, while we are at it, I recommend to try it with natural yoghurt adding a little as a syrup or with fresh fruit like apple sticks, with fresh strawberries andh banana.

Now I will tell you how to make Lotus biscuit cream for spreading and for dessert recipes

Ingredients

  • 16 Lotus cookies
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup whole milk or milk cream
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder.

How to do Lotus Biscoff Sauce

  1. Chop the cookies and put them in the food processor and crush until they look like sand.
  2. Add 3 tbsp of butter together with the milk or milk cream and blend again until you obtain a smooth mix.
  3. Taste it and add a little cinnamon to taste.
  4. Add sugar or sweetener if you prefer the sauce to be sweeter.

Summary

The caramelized biscuit cream is ready to be placed in a container with a lid so that it can be stored. It should be stored in the refrigerator and to make it creamy again before using it, it will suffice to leave it for a few minutes at room temperature. You are going to enjoy it. Enjoy your meal!
