Whether you desire a spread for dessert recipes or a delightful accompaniment to yogurt, fresh fruit, or pancakes, this versatile Biscoff cream will surely please your taste buds. So, how would you prefer to enjoy your Biscoff sauce?

What is Lotus Biscoff Sauce

Lotus Biscoff Sauce is not something new and has already been on the rise for the last decade in the United States. For most, it’s just a spreadable cream like Nutella, not for the taste, but because just like Nutella everyone loves to use it as a spread on bread and cookies.

Now this cream is also becoming very popular in Europe because it’s delicious. So if you like this biscuit cream and you have time to prepare it from scratch, I recommend you try this homemade version of Biscoff cream which I feel is much better than the real Biscoff cream. It’s also very easy to prepare and can be ready with 4 ingredients in just 5 minutes!

Why does this recipe work?

  • Homemade irresistible sauce: The homemade sauce captures the irresistible flavor of Lotus Biscoff cookies in a smooth and creamy sauce. The combination of crushed Biscoff cookies, sweetened condensed milk, and a touch of cinnamon creates a luscious and indulgent sauce that perfectly embodies the distinct caramelized taste of the beloved cookies.
  • Simple recipe: The simplicity of the recipe allows for easy preparation, ensuring that you can enjoy the deliciousness of Lotus Biscoff anytime, whether drizzled over desserts or used as a delectable dip.
  • Versatile: Lotus Biscoff sauce is a versatile treat that can elevate a variety of desserts and snacks.

Lotus Biscoff Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • Lotus Cookies – 16 lotus cookies
  • Butter – 3 tbsp salted butter
  • Whole milk – 1/4 cup whole milk or milk cream
  • Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder.

Instructions

  1. Chop the cookies and put them in the food processor.
  2. Crush them in the food processor until they look like sand.
  3. Add 3 tbsp of butter together with the milk or milk cream and blend again until you obtain a smooth mix.
  4. Add a little cinnamon to taste.
  5. Taste and optionally add syrup or sugar if you prefer the sauce to be sweeter.

Tips

  • The caramelized biscuit cream should be placed in a container with a lid before storing it in the refrigerator.
  • To make it creamy again after getting out from the refrigerator, it will suffice to leave it for a few minutes at room temperature. You are going to enjoy it.

How to Serve Biscoff Sauce

  • Use it as a dip for fresh fruits like sliced apples, strawberries, or bananas.
  • Add a spoonful of Biscoff drizzle sauce to your favorite milkshake or smoothie for a decadent twist.
  • Pour the sauce over ice cream or frozen yogurt to create a heavenly sundae.
  • Spread it on banana bread, toast, croissants, or muffins for a deliciously sweet and indulgent breakfast or snack.
  • Use the Biscoff topping sauce as a filling or topping for cakes, cupcakes, or pastries to add a burst of Biscoff flavor.
  • Incorporate the sauce into milk or dark chocolate truffles for a unique and delightful confection.
  • Drizzle the sauce over pancakes or waffles for a delightful breakfast or brunch treat.
