We all have heard of the antioxidant effect of all berries and blueberries are very good for the eyes. But for example, do you know that a cup of berries every day for 30 days is said that your proliferation of totipotent stem cells goes up by 6 times? Basically, this kind of stem cells is the ones that may heal your body and any inflammations by drinking a simple berry smoothie with chia seeds. If you would like to learn a little bit more about stem cells and know more about them listen to Ben Greenfield podcast with the researcher and author Darin Olien.
Why You’ll Like It
- Anti-inflammatory – Thrust me this recipe and the Turmeric Latte saved me from chronic pain for a frozen shoulder post-surgery. I was taking way too many anti-inflammatories and painkillers and decided to cure my inflammation naturally.
- Low-calorie – It’s below 150 calories and it tastes great. If you have a craving and want to keep your energy levels high this is the best solution even before bed!
- Frozen or fresh – It doesn’t matter if you have fresh berries, frozen works just as well.
Tips
- Use any berries you find in season or otherwise use the frozen ones.
- Use any dairy-free milk you have open in the refrigerator. Soy milk is slightly higher in protein than other plant-based milks but as long as it’s unsweetened, it’s fine!
