The combination of sweet and savory flavors is a favorite appealing to both children and adults, while the crispy texture adds an enjoyable crunch to the dish. There’s no special ingredient or secret in this recipe but here I can guarantee that this honey chicken recipe never fails to impress!

PF Chang’s is a well-known and respected restaurant chain with restaurants in the US, Mexico, Canada and Middle East, associated with high-quality Asian dishes and excellent service. As a result, many people trust the brand and are willing to try new dishes from their menu. Some of their most popular dishes include their lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef, Kung Pao shrimp and last but not least the Crispy Honey Chicken. In fact, the popularity of PF Chang’s Crispy Honey Chicken is a testament to the restaurant’s reputation for delivering delicious and satisfying dishes that keep customers coming back for more.

Why you’ll like it

  • It can be served as a main course or as an appetizer, making it a great option for any occasion.
  • A portion of Chang’s Crispy Honey Chicken costs around $16 to $18. However, you can cook this for a family of 6 at the cost of 1.
  • You can enjoy it even if you don’t have a nearby PF Chang restaurant.
  • Homemade honey chicken is around 400 kcal compared to the 1000 calories of the takeaways. At home, you can make adjustments according to your dietary needs and use high-quality ingredients.

How to serve PF Chang’s honey chicken?

When it comes to this Chinese style honey glazed chicken, I recommend serving it on a bed of fried rice like PF Chang’s chicken fried rice, or another reader’s favorite Nando’s spicy rice. In Australia, Chinese restaurants serve Honey Chicken on a bed of fried vermicelli rice noodles though I’m not exactly a big fan of this!

If you’re visiting a PF Chang’s restaurant then I strongly suggest trying one of the fiery spicy vegetable sides like the chili-garlic green beans, Kung Pao brussels sprouts or the Edamame which comes slightly salted but not spicy.

I made it and substituted the chicken with tofu like I do when I order it at PF Chang’s!

It is VERY tasty HOWEVER, it did not taste like PF Chang’s!!

    BUT, you won’t be disappointed.

Just know that if you’re looking for that DISTINCTIVE PF Chang’s tasting Crispy Honey Chicken, this is not that, but it’s a DARN GOOD second!!

    And it’s EASY to make!!
