Description
Among the variations of traditional espresso coffee, Marocchino coffee is one of the most popular. And how could it be otherwise? It is a small delight made up of three layers: an espresso coffee base to which cocoa powder and milk foam are added. The result is a perfect coffee to be enjoyed at any time of the day when you want to pamper yourself!
Ingredients
- 1 espresso shot
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- Whole milk to taste
- Sugar to taste
Instructions
- Espresso: To obtain Moroccan coffee you need to start by preparing a good espresso. After preparing it (with the coffee machine or with the moka, depending on how you are used to), pour it into a transparent glass cup.
- Frothing the milk: At this point, froth the milk well with the steam nozzle in the coffee machine or with an electric milk frother, until you obtain a compact foam.
- Make the coffee: Now that all the ingredients are ready, make the Moroccan coffee: sprinkle the espresso in the cup with a first spoonful of cocoa powder, add the whipped cream to fill the glass, and sprinkle again with the second spoonful of cocoa in powder.
- Add sugar: Sweeten your Moroccan to taste and enjoy it, mixing the three layers of coffee, milk, and cocoa well.
