Why You’ll Like It
Sip, savor, and let the flavors transport you to the heart of Tuscany!
- 5 Ingredients: Lemonade, Lemons, Limoncello, Vodka and Sparkling water.
- Bubbly Bliss: This effervescent cocktail takes you on an imaginary trip in the charming Tuscan landscapes and you have just stopped for a late afternoon Italian apertifo!
- Tart and Refreshing!
Tips
- Adjust the sweetness and tartness of the lemonade by using more or less limoncello and adjusting the amount of lemonade to your preference. Similarly, using normal vodka or using lemon-infused vodka is entirely your choice. I say that you don’t need to prepare overnight lemon-infused vodka as the drink is tart enough.
- Drink responsibly and ensure that this beverage is consumed only by individuals of legal drinking age in your region.
- Chill all the ingredients before mixing for a refreshing experience.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less lemonade to suit your taste.
- For an elegant touch, freeze lemon slices in ice cubes and use them to keep the drink cool without diluting it.
Variations
- For an Italian nonalcoholic lemonade try our Italian Lemonade Soda.
- Create a non-alcoholic version by using a limoncello substitute and omitting vodka.
- Try adding 2 large spoonfuls of lemon curd
- Garnish with fresh herbs like basil or thyme for an aromatic dimension.

Description
This sparkling Tuscan lemonade recipe is perfect for hot summer days! Made with 5 simple ingredients, it's tart, sweet, refreshing, and delicious.
Ingredients
- 340 ml lemonade
- 2 lemons thinly sliced
- 85 ml limoncello
- 170 ml vodka (or lemon infused vodka)
- 900 ml sparkling water
Instructions
- Wash and thinly slice the lemons. Set aside a few lemon slices for garnishing.
- In a large pitcher, combine the lemonade, limoncello, and vodka.
- Gently add most thinly sliced lemons to the pitcher. Keep a few slices aside for garnishing individual glasses.
- Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let the mixture chill for 1-2 hours. This allows the flavors to meld and the lemon slices to infuse their essence into the mix.
- When ready to serve, take the pitcher out of the refrigerator.
- Just before serving, gently pour the sparkling water into the pitcher. The fizziness of the water will give your Tuscan Lemonade a refreshing and effervescent touch.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour the Tuscan Lemonade over the ice in each glass. Garnish the glasses with the reserved lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for a delightful visual appeal.
- Serve the Tuscan Lemonade immediately to capture its refreshing flavors at their best. Sip, savor, and relish the blend of zesty lemon, limoncello, and vodka, all brought together with the sparkling water's effervescence.
