Indulge in homemade Cacao and Almond Energy Balls—a quick, healthy, and customizable snack bursting with flavor and made in just minutes!
Ingredients
- 400 g dates pitted
- 200 g ground almonds (or 100 g ground almonds + 100 g oat flour)
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 4 tbsp cacao powder raw
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
- Blend the dates until they come into a paste.
- Mix the dates, together the ground almonds and, cacao powder and oats if using.
- Add the peanut butter and coconut oil and blend until it comes into a smooth paste.
- Then with the use of a spoon and my hands, I turn them into balls. This recipe is for 12 cacao almond balls.
Recipe Notes:
- For a variation, replace half of the ground almonds (100 g) with oat flour (100 g) for a different texture and flavour.
