- 2 Portuguese-style rolls or ciabatta/baguette
- 8 tbsp garlic butter mix 1/2 cup softened butter + 4 minced garlic cloves and roast *(check full instructions below)
- 2 tbsp olive oil extra richness
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 4 tsp dried parsley or 4 tbsp fresh
Prepare the Garlic Butter
Crush the garlic. Cut off the ends of the garlic heads and crush the raw garlic — or for extra flavour, cook the garlic before crushing. To roast, place the garlic on parchment paper, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap it. Bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 40–50 minutes.
Mix the roasted garlic with a fork until it forms a creamy paste and then add the salt.
Assemble the Garlic Bread
Add the dried parsley flakes (or chopped fresh parsley) to the garlic cream and stir until well combined.
Divide the bread rolls in half lengthwise.
Spread the garlic cream generously on the cut sides of the rolls.
Drizzle lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with dried parsley flakes.
