Meze with Hummus Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can chickpeas (15 oz)
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 3 tbsp water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

Instructions
 

  • Put the canned chickpeas in a blender without their water and skin.
  • Add two tablespoons of tahini with its oil, the juice of a lemon, the cumin, sweet paprika, salt and a little water to make the blades spin better.
  • Do a tasting test, adding more cumin if you want a stronger flavor.
  • When the hummus is creamy, put it in a bowl and garnish with smoked paprika and a drop of extra virgin olive oil.
  • Serve it as a cream to spread on pita bread, wraps and as accompaniment with the falafel.
