Fried Chicken Meatballs

Ingredients
  

  • 17 1/2 oz 500g chicken breast, minced
  • 5 1/4 oz 150g bread, diced
  • 2 3/4 oz 80g grated parmesan
  • 1/2 cup milk for soaking bread
  • 1 egg
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • parsley to taste
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Soak the diced bread in milk and leave for up to 30 minutes. (5 minutes is enough)
  • Pour the minced chicken into a bowl and mix with the previously soaked bread.
  • Add the Parmesan, salt, pepper, chopped parsley, and egg, then mix everything well until you get a compact dough.
  • Shape the dough into meatballs of around 1 oz (30g) each and gradually arrange the meatballs on a tray.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meatballs until they are golden brown.
  • Remove them from the oil and place them on a plate lined with absorbent paper in order to eliminate the excess oil.
  • Serve the fried chicken meatballs on the table, accompanying them with mayonnaise or any dressing you like.

Notes

You can keep them in the pantry for a few days.
Fried chicken meatballs are excellent to serve in aperitifs, buffets, and dinners.
You can stuff small pieces of cheese such as "provola" that melts after cooking.
They can also be cooked in the oven at 200°C for 30 minutes.
