Nandos Peri Peri Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Chicken Breasts large
  • ½ cup Home made Peri Peri Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the peri peri sauce
  • Cut the chicken breasts horizontally into 8 pieces
  • Marinade the chicken in the peri peri sauce. You can marinade it in advance a few hours before, overnight, or just cook it right away.
  • Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil
  • Cook the chicken slowly getting a nice sear for 3 minutes, then flip over and do the same with the other side.
  • Then turn the heat to low and allow the chicken to cook through, about 2 more minutes.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can marinade chicken but also use it to grill veggies, fish or tofu.
  • If you can't find African bird's eye chili, you can swap it for any spicy peppers you can find. Thai chilis work great or red serrano peppers but even cayenne. 
  • Unless you want it very spicy, always make sure to take out the seeds from the peppers.
  • You can pan-fry this chicken, bake it but grilled tastes amazing!
