- Leftover baked or fried pasta
Preheat your air fryer to around 350°F (175°C) for even reheating.
Place your leftover baked pasta in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure that any toppings like cheese or breadcrumbs are evenly distributed.
Start with a shorter reheating time, typically around 5 minutes. Check the pasta's temperature and texture after this initial time. If needed, continue reheating in 1-2 minute increments, checking each time.
About halfway through the reheating process (after 2-3 minutes), pause the air fryer and give the basket a shake or stir the pasta. This prevents sticking and ensures even heating.
Once the pasta is thoroughly reheated and has reached your desired temperature, remove it from the air fryer. Your pasta should be hot throughout and regain some of its original texture.
What Pasta to Reheat in an Air Fryer: Baked pasta dishes and fried pasta, such as fried ravioli or spaghetti balls, work best in an air fryer. The hot circulating air can help recreate a crispy or toasted texture.
Pasta Dishes Best Reheated Elsewhere: Not all pasta dishes are suited for reheating in an air fryer. Creamy pasta dishes, delicate pasta salads, and those with saucy or tomato-based sauces are better reheated using other methods like the stovetop or microwave.
